Concert at Karori Classics

St Mary's Anglican Church Karori

Nick Hancox, the newly appointed assistant principal viola in the NZSO, will play a recital on Friday 18 June at 7pm at St Mary's Karori. He has put together a fantastic program that includes some solo viola gems by Biber, Vieuxtemps, Bach and Dall'Abaco. The evening will end with a wonderful piece by Turina called Scene Andalouse for solo viola, piano and string quartet. NZSO members Anna van der Zee (violin), Alan Molina (violin), Chris van der Zee (viola), Eleanor Carter (cello), together with Beth Chen (piano) will join for the grand finale. The proceeds of this concert will go to St Mary's Anglican Church.
